Conversations involving multiple participants, allowing collaboration and information sharing in Teams
Yes, thank you but since it isn't gone there is a need to differentiate. Do you have an answer to the question?

I appear to be the only one on our team (suddenly and inexplicably) missing the Gif button on my Teams desktop App/browser. It appears the same when I log on via edge. Where has my GIF button gone and how do I get it back?

The "NEW" title is just the current differentiator. Once the current (i.e. "old") Teams is sunset, there won't be any need to delineate using the "NEW" moniker.
It looks like they didn't download the most updated version, by the way.
This has not worked for me. I did everything including re-downloading and multiple restarts. As soon as I went to the "new teams" the other day, all of the icons disappeared beneath the text box. Inside the text box are only emoji and edit icons.
This started happening on my desktop teams clients using the NEW teams (btw, terrible name.. should be simply versioned... is the next one going to be called "Newer New teams"?
I don't know if others are having the same issue.. but most others show all the icons, and not experiencing the problem I have.
Once, I was able to do the App Advanced settings and used "Reset" and "Repair". it worked for a little bit but went back to removing most of the chat icons again.
I have like 10 chat icons missing. I only now see: format, emoji, loop components, and "actions and apps" which doesn't show any options for GIF or some of the other missing icons.
