My camera on MSTeams on IPad Pro M4 suddenly is inverted, showing me upside down to all other attendees.

I am experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Teams app on my iPad Pro M4. When I open the camera for video calls, the camera in landscape view is upside down. This problem only occurs in Microsoft Teams; other apps like FaceTime, Google Meet, Zoom or Telegram do not exhibit this issue.

Device and App Information:

• Device: iPad Pro M4

• iOS Version: 17.5.1

• Microsoft Teams Version: 6.14.0

Steps Taken to Resolve the Issue:

  1. Updated Microsoft Teams to the latest version.
  2. Restarted the Microsoft Teams app.
  3. Restarted the iPad.
  4. Verified camera orientation in the default Camera app (no issues).
  5. Reinstalled Microsoft Teams.
  6. Checked for and installed the latest iOS updates.

Despite these steps, the issue persists. I would appreciate any guidance or support to resolve this problem. Thank you for your assistance.

    I even reported this twice in their feedback section in the Teams but I received nothing yet 🤷🏻‍♂️. I hope they will intervene soon.

    Same issue here. I’ve reported it to Microsoft via this site. Strange that they haven’t put anything out on it given how frustrating this is for the many of us who rely on Teams on iPad. I had a funny moment with a colleague who also has a new iPad M4 when we were both upside down on the same call. Now not that funny etc.

    I have the same issue on a new iPad Air (iPadOS 17.5.1). I hope Microsoft solves this soon.

    its the same issue with me

    ipad pro 13 and ipad pro 11

    M4 chip

    i think apple have changed camera to center

    and Microsoft teams not able to adjust it

    and I AM UPSIDE DOWN 😂

    what where APP developers doing

    its funny many of them using ipad is for

    teams meeting only

    hope it get the issue sorted soon

    😂 or else its not worth spending money for ipad
