Why is my "Notify when available" missing when I click on a user in Teams?

This is what is missing from a user we support.

Hello WilliamHicks6,

The Notify when available feature is not available in the new Teams. Currently, you will need to select a user’s avatar or profile photo anywhere in new Teams to quickly get an overview of their online status, next available calendar slot in Outlook, work hours, local time, or work location either remote or in office.

Are there talks about adding back in this functionality? I use this all the time in the old App and it's a big enough deal for me to revert back to the previous app and ditch the new one entirely.

This was the best way to know when someone is available, without having to randomly check and recheck throughout the day if you are going to be interrupting someone during a meeting, focus time, or when they are away.

    Speak for yourself.

This feature is needed when working with people in other time zones or with quirky working hours.

I found that to be a very helpful tool. We are a cross-functional team that works remotely and on different schedules. Setting a notification is a loss for me.

    Thanks,

Why was this feature removed? This is/was an extremely efficient means of catching someone's attention when they first come online or when they're between meetings. Does Microsoft plan to restore the feature some time in the future?
