Missing language in spelling check on New Teams

Hi,

I have set application language to Polish in New Teams, but still missing Polish spelling check (only English is there). It is missing ONLY in New Teams - it is not missing in any other application across my desktop.

    In the article you are referring to it states: "This feature is only available in Classic Teams".

    That article is improving, but still not accurate. Their option 2 workaround does not work for me. My windows11 language bar can be set to French or Portuguese, but Teams still spell checks in English.

    the only working solution for non-english users is to

    * disable Spell-Checking

    entirely to stop the annoying "wrong corrections" at each word.

    The linked "article has been retired", it says. The problem is persisting.

    Is it so hard to solve a severe usability issue which hasn't been a problem in other software for decades?

    Or does the user experience just not matter, as long as the market share is fine?

    It's funny that my Teams recently proposed me to do a feedback on Teams Chats and Channels, how dare they XD So I submitted a long complain on this feature and required an official respond.. But honestly I don't think anyone would reply...

    So, I've managed to do something. If you go to Settings | General and scroll down to Editor spellcheck, I had there like 7 languages. But English was not one of them. And when I've clicked on Manage there was no way to add more. But after I've removed all but 2 of them, the add option has appeared.
