Missing language in spelling check on New Teams

Step 2 is the misunderstanding that many people have. They expect, that I change the keyboard layout because I type in a different language. This is not how I and many others work. I always use the same keyboard layout and type either German or English. Switching the layout is annoying, because the special characters are then somewhere else and I don't want to remember all the special characters for 2 layouts.

So switching the keyboard layout for language detection is just not how it should be!

@Microsoft: Please change this behaviour!

I have tried all the proposed methods and unfortunately none of them work. I still do not know how to enable Polish language autocorrect on new teams. I've been using New Teams for one week and the language did not switch automatically even though I use Polish constantly. The other methods did not works either. Can you please help me. It is really very useful for me to have this option on teams.

Agree here completely with Thibault, although the issue is logged since November, so actually 7 months and therefore even worse....

It is unbelievable bad performance on a basic function, my whole team uses 3 languages at the same time, so for high quality professional communication this is essential.

I can´t believe we are even discussing this for months in 2024, it has 10.000 views so there are in reality hundred thousands of users facing this.

I'm having the same kind of issue, for some reason Teams is correcting everything to Polish when I write in english. I tried everything and even remove any sign of polish languages from windows, uninstall polish language and teams is still **** up.

If you are not competent enough to fix this issue in 3 **** month, the least you can do is give us back the previous version which have no issue.

Your 'New Teams' is just marketing and on technical aspect it is garbage.

I agree with you Roman, I'm really surprised that it has been such regression for a functionality that in my humble opinion (I am not a SW designer) seems so simple to migrate in Teams new version.
