Missing language in spelling check on New Teams

Step 2 is the misunderstanding that many people have. They expect, that I change the keyboard layout because I type in a different language. This is not how I and many others work. I always use the same keyboard layout and type either German or English. Switching the layout is annoying, because the special characters are then somewhere else and I don't want to remember all the special characters for 2 layouts.

So switching the keyboard layout for language detection is just not how it should be!

@Microsoft: Please change this behaviour!

Same issue here if typing in French. Windows is well suggesting words in French while I type, but as I select the words suggested, they become underline red. Same computer, same session just reverting slider to old Teams fixes the spell check, only actual typos and red (2nd screen shot):

I have now same version of New Teams as you have, but right click to chat line only gives me choice of writing direction (left-right) and no language selection. It only works in OLD Teams!

Hi! it used to be true on "old" teams, but on the new version, it does'nt happen anymore. I speak 3 languages daily at work, and I need it to be auto changed as it used to, not by clicking on the keybord option... It used to be smart and spell cehck my messages according to each chat, now it it all in portuguese, which is my keybord,l and the one I need the least, as I am native portuguese speaker, but not Spanish and even English...

Same here, only English US and English and I use Swedish. My keyboard is set to Swedish. No problem with old Teams
