Upload Image/Banner on Announcement post is no longer available.

The banner option not showing up for me as well from within Teams. Not seen any pattern as to when exactly the banner option shows up, but I think I tried using Teams from within Edge and it showed up. (I generally use chrome browser) Today I wanted to do an announcement and again it didn't work, not in Teams client, not in Teams in Chrome, not in Teams in Edge browser. But then it showed up on Firefox for me. How bizarre!!!

Yep, I just tried and Firefox works for me... for now anyway...

Why would they go and do something as stupid as removing that functionality anyway? Geez.

I can get an announcements banner in all the browsers (edge, chrome, firefox). The issue is that it's HUGE. Literally 2.5" tall. It takes up SO much real estate. We can also no longer customize this banner. I created 2 announcement samples. Below is the view of a large monitor and a laptop. The banner size is ridiculously large. As per someones request above, when I tried Firefox it looked smaller and more normal size but when I viewed it on a different browser and in Teams client, it was still 2.5 inches tall. Our organization relies on Teams and could benefit from using announcements but will wait until they're more reasonable size.

Looks like your version of Firefox already has the updated Teams version. Mine still looks like the screenshot below. That version lets me post like before, but every other version I've tried is the updated version and gives me these garbage banners and doesn't let me customize with graphics, etc.

I was able to also use Firefox to add an announcement banner! A crazy loophole.. but glad it is working for now... @microsoft!! Please address soon! :(
