Upload Image/Banner on Announcement post is no longer available.

Thank you both. That is frustrating.

My other question is not about the banners. It's about what happens in the white space of the actual post. It used to be when we'd upload/attach a horizontal image to a post (say, a group of employees), that picture would display the width of the post. So we'd have our colorful banner at the top, headlines, text, then the image would appear large below the text.

Now since the software update where we lost banner image upload, an attached image still appears below the text, but it's half the width of the post. It looks tiny by comparison from what we had before. We are wondering if this in-post image size gets bigger again once we have the upgrade to the version of Teams with the customized banners. Please help us see into the future about what we're getting in terms of image size WITHIN the post (not banners).

I'm tired of this BS. I'm more than capable enough to make my own banners, and if MS intends to make a new function, then ready this function before removing the old. Also, most of the world isn't USA. Hell, we're not even native English speakers. Microsoft has full control not giving us new features based on us speaking the wrong language, they know who we are, so how come it's so hard not to remove the old things that still do work when you don't intend to give us the new functionality in months, perhaps not even during this year? And, this is just one example of many. STOP IT! Jeeeez...

I can now access this feature in 'New' Teams 2.0

It works in the Edge browser and also the desktop client.

I do also have a copilot licence but do not have the option to generate my own ai backgrounds.

Just the old option to pick an image, albeit twice as deep.
