What happened to the spellcheck feature on the new Teams??

I have notice that the spell check seems to be broken on the new Teams version. The incorrectly spelled word still gets underlined in red, and a suggestion list populates as it used to, but the suggestions are ridiculous. A perfect example is the word "definitely".

Same. Not sure if no spell check is better than bad spell check.

Just wanted to provide an update.

I noticed a week or so ago that spellcheck was no longer suggesting ANYTHING, as have others here.

Finally looked into it a little.

    I'm on Windows 11.

New Teams wasn't giving suggestions anymore; not even wrong ones.

Old Teams was working as expected (yay).

Quit New Teams, and cleared my cache (All files inside of %localappdata%\packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Localcache\Microsoft\MSTeams)

Now Teams is performing spellcheck - though it seems to be a bit "delayed" in that often, it wont' check "on the fly" but I have to wait or hit the <tab> key for it to do the check. But, at least its making proper suggestions now.
Hopefully they get the responsiveness corrected now.

Didn't work for me. Deleted that folder and -- still no spell check at all.
