What happened to the spellcheck feature on the new Teams??

I have notice that the spell check seems to be broken on the new Teams version. The incorrectly spelled word still gets underlined in red, and a suggestion list populates as it used to, but the suggestions are ridiculous. A perfect example is the word "definitely".

It worked just FINE before, PRIOR to the new version. JUST MAKE IT LIKE IT WAS.
And that's exactly right... not only does it not WORK, the "spellcheck" wants to pluralize EVERYTHING.
WHY??

2023-10-27T17:27:48+00:00 I agree. I was just doing some searching to try to figure out what was going wrong. The spell check for the Teams client couldn't even come up with a correct suggestion for planning (when I typed planing). This is just one example. The suggestions on the spell check feature are now completely useless and horrid.

2023-10-26T17:22:41+00:00 I agree that the new Teams spell check is bloody awful! It cannot provide even simple fixes that Word / Powerpoint etc. do with ease. It is an embarrasment!

2023-10-26T17:03:36+00:00 Same thing with standard English dictionary. It's like it want to pluralize everything. I've tried reinstalling teams clear the cache deleting the dictionary. Checked and re-checks all settings. I'm not using a web version, as well this is also across different computers. My desktop and laptop. I've been experiencing this problem/nightmare for about 2 months now.
