Custom backgrounds not appearing in Teams Preview

Hi,

I recently enabled Teams preview for a few users in my organization, but they can't see the custom backgrounds that are stored locally in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads. Is this by design that custom backgrounds are not visibile when using Preview Teams or is there a different location to place the custom backgrounds?

    I'm happy to help you today.

    To clarify, are you referring to the new Teams which has the logo shown below? If so, I'm afraid yes, the custom backgrounds are not visible from the background effects options.

    It may be one of the features that are being worked on at the moment for this new version of Teams.

    Can this be answered to confirm it is 100% that its in the progress to be added to new preview teams ?
