Side Scrollbar disappears frequently in the New Teams.

In the New Teams App, I could see that the Scrollbar is getting disappear frequently.

    Hello Alami08.

    Thank you for your feedback. I completely agree with you. I wish they would have tested it thoroughly prior to sending it out to the masses. It really frustrates me as I started working on it, and it had nice features that other Teams didn't have. I hope they find a solution to make the scroll bar work on the app. I do not want to use the website to use the Teams; that defeats the purpose of the app, and too I don't have the time to go to the website each time.

    Same here. I've experienced this on two Windows 11 machines and I've had no choice but to go back to the classic Teams for now. It's infuriating. It forced me again into new Teams and thankfully I was able to drop back, but until it's fixed the new version is completely unusable.

    This is exactly the issue I am facing: the scrollbar disappears (see below for the steps to reproduce). But there appears to be a workaround (described below).

    Workaround:

    1. Press Ctrl + L -- this should shift the focus to the list of chats
    2. Use the up arrow and down arrow keys to navigate up and down in the list.

    Steps to reproduce in the desktop version:

    Teams Version: 23335.232.2637.4844

    Client version: 49/23113028724

    1. Navigate to Teams.
    2. In the left-side vertical ribbon (i.e., the left column ), click on the Chat icon.
    3. In the top right corner of the Teams window, click on the "resize window" icon (or use the Windows Key + directional arrow to resize the Teams window).
    4. As soon as the Teams window resizes, Teams will momentarily display the vertical scrollbar on the right side of the column listing all the chats.
    5. After a second or so, the scrollbar disappears. That's the bug.

    "And unless you have a touch screen you actually cannot scroll at all without the scrollbar, so how can you make it appear? " - There could be bug (regarding constant visibility of the scrollbar) but it seems you dont know how to scroll in a laptop using double fingers. Please try that and if still that does not work it must be your local issues.

    for scrolling -

    Laptop : Use double fingers

    Touchpad : has touch itself

    Desktop: has mouse
