Side Scrollbar disappears frequently in the New Teams.

I installed this version https://staticsint.teams.cdn.office.net/production-windows-x64/24036.4400.2677.6911/MSTeams-x64.msix as this has no issue. It will ask you to restart to update the top right, don't do that as it will take you back to the troublesome update.

Until this is fix i will just use the above

Thank you for your explanation and workaround. This is exactly what is happening to myself even after a full uninstall and reinstall of new Teams. At least my spell check started to work again.

I'm with you -- though this workaround is working for me:

1. Press Ctrl + L -- this should shift the focus to the list of chats.
2. Use the up arrow and down arrow keys to navigate up and down in the list.

"And unless you have a touch screen you actually cannot scroll at all without the scrollbar, so how can you make it appear? " - There could be bug (regarding constant visibility of the scrollbar) but it seems you dont know how to scroll in a laptop using double fingers. Please try that and if still that does not work it must be your local issues.

for scrolling -

Laptop : Use double fingers

Touchpad : has touch itself

Desktop: has mouse
