Side Scrollbar disappears frequently in the New Teams.

Do all the affected people have a touch screen? My notebook has a touch screen which I really never use, but I wonder if the touch screen input is causing Teams to assume the focus isn't close to the where the scroll bar is and causing it to hide the bar?

This happened to me this morning. It forcibly shoved me into new Teams again and I had to make it go back to the old version. It kept nagging me not to which also irritated me. No, I don't really want to but the new one is way to buggy. I appreciate the workaround but I'm sticking with classic until it's fixed. I want to use the new one, but until my scrollbars work properly it's not going to happen.

I've tried this but then I'm bombarded with popups for new teams and then after a while it upgrades automatically. This may be due to my company's policy but trying to stay on the old version hasn't really worked for me.

If you resize the window slightly the scrollbar will appear. It will disappear soon after but if you can grab it before it does so you are able to use it.

I have the same issue as well. In my opinion the "new" teams is significantly less reliable than the previous version. I'd stay with the old version, but the constant popups and stealth updates to the new version make that difficult.

In the New Teams App, I could see that the Scrollbar is getting disappear frequently.

Since February 5, 2024, I too can no longer use the scroll bar in the new Teams environment. I experience this as a big and serious problem. I urge Microsoft to restore the scroll feature soon. My argument is also ergonomic. Where a mouse with a scroll wheel is not used for ergonomic reasons, it must be possible to scroll with a normal mouse to protect the employee. That will only be possible if Microsoft restores functionality and brings back the scroll bar in the new Teams. I am counting on an urgent and rapid recovery action from Microsoft.
