Why is it that when I start up Teams it automatically opens up my Chats first?

I have my Microsoft Teams set to open up automatically when my computer starts, however, whenever it starts up the 'Chat' tab is always showing first. How can I make it so that the 'Teams' tab is what's shown when it first opens up. This is ever since switching to the new version.

Thanks!

That does not work in New Teams. I don't understand why Microsoft won't respond to this thread.

I have it in both versions, Mac and Windows, that the chat opens on startup.

Seems random for the NEW Teams (emphasis added).

It starts in Chat or Teams for either version.

I also tried to make Teams start in an app other that Teams or Chat (like Calendar). It still starts in Chat for me.

What is consistent is that the startup app can't be changed to the other.

This does not work in Teams.

i have created put in feedback per the request. Given that they don't use this forum for amassing priorities but rely on the other system, if you think it is an issue (as I do), you should upvote it in the Feedback system.
