I have it the other way around: it's ticked and it starts in Teams for me 🤷♂️
Why is it that when I start up Teams it automatically opens up my Chats first?

I have my Microsoft Teams set to open up automatically when my computer starts, however, whenever it starts up the 'Chat' tab is always showing first. How can I make it so that the 'Teams' tab is what's shown when it first opens up. This is ever since switching to the new version.

2024-05-03T11:09:20+00:00 Turning off the Teams as 365 chat app seemed to make Teams close faster but when I reopened it (while the computer was on and active), it still opened in the chat tab. I don't put my computer to sleep but have had to leave it on for the past few nights because I am doing a major backup. I close the apps not in use and when I restart Teams in the morning, back to the chat we go ... Haven't yet found a solution.

2024-05-08T14:48:56+00:00 No, as a PC user, I am experiencing the same problem you are. I think Alex's reply was based off of the path for the OLD Teams. The way to access the settings is even different than described.

2024-05-08T22:25:03+00:00 There's actually an open request for this feature in the Feedback Portal, but it only has a handful of votes right now. If you want to see this feature in Teams, then you should add your vote and voice your support for it in the comments!
