I have a user that is getting this error when trying to create a new Team in the Teams beta version. I was having it as well until I cleared my cache. Unfortunately, the same fix did not work for them. Any ideas?

Same issue here. I found I was able to create a new team using the web based client (https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/) but not in the desktop cllient.

I have the same issue, no one on my tenant can create a team using desktop app but we can all create new teams in the browser.

Thank you. This worked for me. I suggest everyone else to do this.

I just signed off my account en closed teams, sign in again en it was working again.. You can give that a try?

This didn't work for me sadly, but I'll have some users try and see if it solves their issue. What's interesting is that it seems to affect others differently. I also can't create Teams via the web app (get the same error message), so my only options are through the admin panel or from my phone. Hopefully they get this fixed sooner rather than later, I should be able to create a TEAM within TEAMS.

Microsoft has finally issued a service advisory so you can track it under the "Health" section of the M365 Admin ctr. TM807389

If you have Teams Admin ctr access you can just create teams from there as a work around...or contact your IT dept to have them create teams in the admin ctr

Same issue here. This is so poor from Microsoft. If a product is in Beta, why force it onto users with no fallback? Crazy. Seems that unifying the codebase just means that it breaks everywhere. Same with the "new" Outlook. Just a buggy mess.
