I have a user that is getting this error when trying to create a new Team in the Teams beta version. I was having it as well until I cleared my cache. Unfortunately, the same fix did not work for them. Any ideas?

This issue is happening on both Teams.com and the the application. This looks like an issue Microsoft needs to resolve. Perhaps focusing on getting it working on Teams.com will resolve the issue for the app also. The work around for me so far is to create the Teams via Teams Admin Center but manually creating each team this way I'm sure is not a viable solution for large enterprises. Clearing cache, signing out then back in do not resolve this issue. under Teams policies I have "Create private channels" & "Create shared channels" enabled. I can't see any policies to allow the use of the "Create team" function in teams. Please fix this Microsoft.

Paul, try the following procedure again and remember that it seems to be most successful when done quickly

and before Teams completes its own log out.

Step 1, log out of teams from inside teams.

Step 2, before teams completes the logout hit Ctrl+Alt+Del

    Step 3, select task manager,

Step 4, scroll to the top of the current apps running list

Step 5, Right click over top of the Teams app in the list and select END TASK

Step 6, restart Teams app and login

This procedure has worked for my office so far, but doing it all quickly seems to be the key to it working

as I've needed to do up to 3 times to get it to work, but so far it always ends up working 😂 (knock on wood)

Thanks for the follow up - this would be to complicated for the end user, I essentially did that when cleaning out the cache directories. I've instructed the user to use the cell phone teams for making a new team for now, it gets them running consistently, and hope MS gets this sorted out very soon.
