New Teams has been advertising itself to many of my users. Majority of the company has made the switch, but others are running into a parameter error. Strange bit is, I can get it to work for about 5 days. Afterwards, I'm guessing an update takes place, and New Teams refuses to open and throws a parameter error. I've tried reinstalling the application multiple times and downloading the app installer. Nothing seems to work.

I would agree with you on the AV. Based on my discussions with Microsoft, New Teams is flawed and their recommendation was to revert back to Classic Teams.

Will check tomorrow if this fixes the issue.
Interested in the results, however as Kieran noted, it will work for a while and then not work. I have very little faith that Microsoft will push out a fully operational version.
Good news, at least for now.
After updating to version 24004.1309.2689.2246 New Teams starts automatically ... but, my account isn't logged in, I have to log out of Teams and log in again.
Another side effect is that my Outlook 2019 now asks me to log in, even though I'm using an Exchange On Premises account.
I should point out that I'm in hybrid 365 mode.
Again this morning after connecting to Citrix, Teams started automatically but I was not connected :
I had to Sign Out from Teams and reconnect.
Same for Outlook, I have to enter my password when it starts
With the old Teams, I was automatically logged in in Teams and Outlook, i didn't have to enter my password.
