New Teams prompting "The parameter is incorrect" error.

New Teams has been advertising itself to many of my users. Majority of the company has made the switch, but others are running into a parameter error. Strange bit is, I can get it to work for about 5 days. Afterwards, I'm guessing an update takes place, and New Teams refuses to open and throws a parameter error. I've tried reinstalling the application multiple times and downloading the app installer. Nothing seems to work.

The parameter is incorrect.

    I honestly gave up and followed Microsoft's recommendation and reverted to Classic Teams. I now have Classic Teams issues and not the new & improved issues.

    I can tell you this, if my firm put out work as poor as this "New Teams", we would be in jeopardy of legal action.

    We also facing same issue with Server 2019 also with Server 2022 running the latest New Teams App 24004.1307.2669.7070.
    Also we have the latest FSLogix release (FSLogix 2210 hotfix 3 (2.9.8784.63912) and SentinelOne AV without above described
    exlcudes.

    With version 23335.232.2637.4844 on Server 2022 we hadn't any issue including latest FSLogix and without SentinelOne excludes.

    Rolled back to the last working version 23335.232.2637.4844 does not solve the issue. Looks like there was something changed
    in the background by MS.

    Suprise. Today New Teams works as expected without something changed. We're now on New Teams 23335.232.2637.4844 on Server 2019 also on Server 2022.

    Don't know what has changed, but today it is working.

    Hello,

    Same for me within my Citrix XenDesktop environment with FSLogix including 2.9.8784.63912 fix.

    On my AV pool I added these exclusions :

    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MSTeams_*\ms-teams.exe

    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MSTeams_*\ms-teamsupdate.exe

    C:\Program Files\FSLogix\Apps\frxsvc.exe

    I installed Teams version 24004.1307.2669.7070 with bootstrapper.exe by running .\teamsbootstrapper.exe -p -o "c:\teams\MSTeams-x64.msix"

    The result of the installation is ‘Successful’.

    I disabled autoupdate by adding ‘Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Teams\ disableAutoUpdate’ key.

    I already tried to repair Teams via Apps control panel, without success.

    When I’m clicking on ‘OK’ button to the parameter error and waiting some minutes, Teams will open when run from the Start menu.

    I can confirm Marc_D_As post. Since last few days with any version of New Teams App, we have to wait about 5 minutes to start New Teams App.
    Sometimes faster, sometimes slower. Don't believe that this has someting todo with AV excludes.
