New Teams has been advertising itself to many of my users. Majority of the company has made the switch, but others are running into a parameter error. Strange bit is, I can get it to work for about 5 days. Afterwards, I'm guessing an update takes place, and New Teams refuses to open and throws a parameter error. I've tried reinstalling the application multiple times and downloading the app installer. Nothing seems to work.

No real solution. The error has mostly gone away, although it does return on occasion. We updated to the latest version of New Teams. I would say that for the most part, THIS error has gone away. There are other issues that continue, but this is mostly gone.

Well I had the same issue as everyone posting for a certain number of users, and it came to be that the issue was an older version of SQL Server still running on their PC's. After updating it to version 2014 SP3, I was able to install and run New Teams on their machines. I hope you folks find your solution.
date for EOL for OLD teams on VDI has been set to 30th of june for some time.
I am assuming this is why the phased out date of the old classic teams has changed from 31st March to now 30th June because it isn't working correctly at the moment with a VDI environment.
