New Teams has been advertising itself to many of my users. Majority of the company has made the switch, but others are running into a parameter error. Strange bit is, I can get it to work for about 5 days. Afterwards, I'm guessing an update takes place, and New Teams refuses to open and throws a parameter error. I've tried reinstalling the application multiple times and downloading the app installer. Nothing seems to work.

We are also seeing this in Azure AVD as of 2/20 with over 100 users. Nothing I have found has resolved.
Got off the phone with Microsoft today, February 13, 2024. It was for another issue with New Teams (Try a different browser...). The solution was to revert to Classic Teams. That users are experiencing a lot of issues with New Teams and it is "not ready". Meanwhile on the Teams Admin Center it says this -

I have been having the same issue. We are on a VDI system with VMware, so that complicates updates slightly. I have found that if I wait a few minutes after logging on and then try to open Teams, it seems to open. Autostart does not work. I have not tries this enough to know that it is consistent.
This is the same for us as well. We log into AVD VDI Pooled desktop and get this error. I can go to the following location and it will launch Teams:
C:\Users\dan.lee\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\ms-teams.exe
But that's not a fix for my users and it's very annoying that this is the first error that they receive when they log in...

you can try to clear your browser cache and cookies, and then sign in to Teams again. This can help you resolve any issues with your browser that might interfere with opening the new Teams. You can also try to use a different browser or device to see if the problem persists.
