Hi all,
The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop).
Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice)
Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer.
This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way.
I tried following things:

Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975
Teams Client version: 49/24080212008
Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825
Can somebody assist please? :)

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:
went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options
scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

Glad to find this thread. I've spent the first 40 minutes of my work day trying to fix this. All my settings were reset and the chat list won't even let me adjust the width.
Not sure why it needed to be updated, it was fine as it was. Now it's taking more screen space and I'm grouchy about it.
I thought I was tripping. Was working fine yesterday now the chat list is just stuck and it’s been throwing me off. I just want to know why this changed for real.
