Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

Mine is 49/24062724817 and marked as latest. I've found a way to bring auto-hide back, but I have to do it every morning. I never sign out when I leave work, just shut down my computer. So, in the morning when Teams starts automatically, I have to sign out and sign back in. Teams defaults to "Follow operating system theme" appearance and auto-hide feature is back. So I have to follow this log-out - log-in process and change to my fave dark theme every morning... Frustrating...

Its only working when we zoom it with 115

I discovered this also happened on my work machine Team's client. Doing some research with a couple of coworkers if you go to three dots next to your profile pictures > Settings > About teams, and if you look at your 'The client version is XXXXXXXXXX" If that client version is 49/24071128825 you will be able to have your chat conversation window be hidden depending the size of your Teams window. If your client version is 49/24080212008 it seems that breaks the hide function of the chat conversations, unless you zoom out to a certain percent (my machine was 135%). Unsure if MS did this on purpose or was an intended change but from my research it seems the client version will be the newer one or greater if it no longer functions.

Same issue here. There is just no reason to take away features that were previously available without at least creating a menu item to adjust this feature or turn it on/off. Fix this... and do better...

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

Same issue here. There is just no reason to take away features that were previously available without at least creating a menu item to adjust this feature or turn it on/off. Fix this... and do better...
