Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

You say there isn't a "feasible built-in option" for this, but there was (for me) yesterday. This constant appearance of the chat listing occurred this morning upon opening Teams. There isn't an option to change the width of the chat list and this is incredibly inconvenient and more difficult to keep up to date in my open chat given the size of the chat window that's left if Teams isn't in a full screen. There shouldn't be a need to request it be built in when it was literally there 1-3 days ago..

Why was this feature available previously? Or maybe a better question is, why was it removed? Because this was standard in Teams until today (for me). Why is a standard feature no longer available with no warning?

So it worked Yesterday, then after the update it no longer works and somehow is "Not Feasible"? I mean how much more incompetent in developing software could you possibly sound?

How do I make Teams chats auto hide and open only when I hover over them?

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes
