Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

Just to add to the list of those people that had this working prior to the last update and now it no longer hides the Chat Contacts and takes up too much screen. Now you basically have to take up valuable screen real estate just to quickly view teams.

Has anyone actually submitted a ticket for this? I'd like to upvote it, if so! If not, I'll submit one and reply here. It's ridiculous that they took away the feature for the chats to hide (at the very least when working in split-screen mode with teams on one side and something else on the other)!!!!!! Same problem - so annoying! I don't understand why the change was made - has anyone explained that. I keep Teams on my vertical monitor, so this new view has the chat list taking up half of my real estate. so not helpful. I VOTE TO CHANGE IT BACK TO HOW IT WAS!!!

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes
