Hi all, The way I work is that I have Teams open on the half of my 3rd small screen (laptop). Today I realized that recent chats pane just stay open which means that actual chat is now 1/4 of the screen.... (small slice) Previously I had to hover over chats icon and then select which chat I want to answer. This feature works when I zoom in A LOT (ctrl +) but it's impossible to work this way. I tried following things: Resize Teams window from both sides Move Teams window from left to right and then resize Unpin/Pin Chats icon Modify settings.json file with different settings...no luck Details: Microsoft Teams version: 24193.1805.3040.8975 Teams Client version: 49/24080212008 Everything works fine under version: 49/24071128825 Can somebody assist please? :) TO SAVE YOUR TIME - USE THIS FIX Go to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes

This update is actually driving me crazy. Please give us auto-hide back 😭

Same issue here. There is just no reason to take away features that were previously available without at least creating a menu item to adjust this feature or turn it on/off. Fix this... and do better...

Came in this morning to the same issue, glad it's not just me. Why are we scaling back customization options in 2024? I keep this app locked into a "Fancy Zone" section of my monitor and don't want to give it more valuable screen real estate but I also want to keep it fully visible. There's no good reason I can't resize and/or hide the chat bar. What's next? Are we going to lose the ability to resize the various sections of Outlook or VSCode?

How do I make Teams chats auto hide and open only when I hover over them?

This happened to one of my coworkers this morning to fix it he:

went to apps and features found the app > clicked advanced options

scroll down to the reset area and choose reset the app

this is apparently a glitch that happens sometimes
