Hi,

Would like Microsoft to respond.

When ending a scheduled teams call, the Jabra headset does not disconnect. Have to issue a test call every time to release it. This does not happen on Zoom call. Happening with many others. see other string.

Why the Teams client keeps using the microphone after calls are finished? is it evesdropping? - Microsoft Q&A

Teams 1.6.00.376.

I have the same issue and having multiple users reporting this issue. We are on Microsoft Teams version 1.6.00.376 (64-bit).

Jabra models (which are all up to date - both headset and dongles):

    Jabra Engage 75

    Jabra Evolve 65

    Jabra Evolve2 65

Temp workaround is to go into Teams settings > Devices and the do a test call > leave the phone call and the presence should reset.

This same thing is happening to me as well .. both Jabra Evolve 65 and 75e models.

Your work around works, but would be nice if the problem was fixed properly.

Same issue with Jabra - very frustrating. I opened a support ticket with them and they stated -

Thank you for contacting Jabra Support.

Thank you for providing that information. Our engineering team has analyzed the challenge and we have informed Microsoft that it is an MS Teams issue. We recommend that impacted customers open a ticket with Microsoft as well, in order to let them know that their users are experiencing the behavior.

While you are awaiting a resolution to this behavior, make a test call in MS teams after the behavior occurs, as those have had success with the headset returning to normal functionality. This can be completed via three horizontal dots on the top right corner> Settings > Devices > Make a test call button in MS Teams and then leave.

I am sorry if someone has already pointed it out as I didn't read all pages of the comments but this issue is not limited to Jabra devices. We have all the same issue with Plantronics devices too since a month or so. I can easily replicate it. Scheduled call keeps the headset being "in the meeting" all the time and depletes the accu of the device pretty quickly. "Killing" teams or calling anyone (not scheduled meeting, just a quick call) solves the issue until the next scheduled call.
