Text prediction working incorrectly in teams chat.

When selecting suggested word, only last letter are replaced from input.

For example, I writing word "testing", after inputting tes I select suggested word testing and as result I get tetesting.

By the way here in teams feedback form suggestions work as expected.

    This is Teams version 1.6.00.6754 (64 bit) on my PC. (Update 2023/03/31)
    And this problem solved after I updated M365

    Issue is not solved after Latest Version of Office 365 and teams. I have also reinstalled Office and Teams as well.

    I can confirm that the issue is resolved for me as well. It looks like the latest M365 fixed it for me too.

    My Teams Predict Testing is now working as expected.

    Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.11166 (64-bit). It was last updated on 5/3/2023.

    Office 365 Version 2304 (Build 16327.20248 Click-to-Run) -- Current Channel -- May 9th

    Last Windows 10 Update: 2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026361) on 5/15/2023

    I cannot say with full confidence, but it feels like it started working again either after the Office update or the Windows 10 update. I do know it was not working after the Teams update.

    Still not working. There has to be some solution from Microsoft. Only Microsoft Teams is Impact everywhere else it is working fine.

    Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.11166 (64-bit). It was last updated on 5/4/2023 seems to have the issue fixed.

    I'm not sure how Teams (M365), Teams (Skype/Windows11) M365 and Windows 11 are related to each other, but some combination of updates screwed up predictive text and now another combination seems to have fixed it. What a waste of time in this age of "artificial intelligence" (neither artificial or intelligent)
