Text prediction working incorrectly in teams chat.

When selecting suggested word, only last letter are replaced from input.

For example, I writing word "testing", after inputting tes I select suggested word testing and as result I get tetesting.

By the way here in teams feedback form suggestions work as expected.

    If text prediction is not working correctly in Teams chat, it could be due to a number of factors.

    First, make sure that your computer is running the most up-to-date version of Teams and that you have the latest version of your operating system. If this doesn't help, try resetting your Teams application settings. To do this, open the Teams application and select “Settings” from the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Select the “Reset” option, and then click “Reset” again to confirm.

    Also, clear the Teams cache by following the below steps

    Clear Teams cache in Windows

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar and then select Quit.
    2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
    3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and then select OK.
    4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
    5. Restart Teams.

    Clear Teams cache in macOS

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.
    2. In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.
    3. Enter the following command, and then press Return:

    rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

    1. Restart Teams.

    Didn't found reset in settings.

    File deletion not helped.

    My teams version You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.376 (64-bit).

    I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the teams and check if it is working

    Also, please update your windows as well

    Hi Indhu_Rani,

    I could not find the reset button in Teams app but I have tried the all others steps.

    Reinstalled the Teams app and updated to latest version but still facing similar issue.

    Could you suggest some other fix for this?

    I too am experiencing this.

    I know very few people that have the hardware keyboard predictive text on, so I don't know who else would notice.

    I have followed that steps but am still having the issue.

    My next step is to spin up a virtual windows 10 on my host infrastructure and test a clean installation.
