When selecting suggested word, only last letter are replaced from input.
For example, I writing word "testing", after inputting tes I select suggested word testing and as result I get tetesting.
By the way here in teams feedback form suggestions work as expected.

It is not good for Microsoft to take so long to solve the issue. Basic issue where it is impacting TEAMS only. All other Applications are working fine.
Yeah, I enabled "Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard" feature. It's a good feature and works good for other applications I often use except Teams for long time.
I have the same issue.
It is not an issue in Teams Posts. Only in Teams Chat.
No amount of resetting, cache clearing helps.

It also happens on a tablet without a physical keyboard (using on screen keyboard) with text suggestions enabled.

Thank you everyone for your patience as the fix for this issue is making its way to production for both our current Teams client and the new Teams client.
We identified the issue reproduces when a Windows feature is enabled called "Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard" under the Typing settings. Because rollouts for fixes can take some time please consider disabling the setting if it impacts your workflow in the meantime. At the least the issue will likely continue to reproduce through this month (April).
