When selecting suggested word, only last letter are replaced from input.
For example, I writing word "testing", after inputting tes I select suggested word testing and as result I get tetesting.
By the way here in teams feedback form suggestions work as expected.

It also happens on a tablet without a physical keyboard (using on screen keyboard) with text suggestions enabled.

Still having the same issue. Any news regarding this? Is it planned to be fixed in an update or something? I also tried with the web version of Teams and the behavior is exactly the same.
Yes, having the same problem. Please fix this problem as soon as possible. Other Microsoft apps: word, excel etc are working fine but not MS Teams. It is very annoying.
