Worst decision for Teams yet, this is not an email. This needs to be changed ASAP, get rid of the subject line (it should be an option, not an always thing).
Cannot agree.
All these posts sound like if Microsoft had forced them to add a subject to their chat messages.
But posts in a channel are (in my world) not a quick message but something thought out and informative for the team. Often also starting a thread of chat messages below it.
(Without a new subject line indeed)
I would suggest to use a group chat instead for these complaining users. Maybe this helps?
So you would suggest everyone else change how they use the application to accommodate the functionality they don't want or need.
I appreciate your counterpoint but it falls a little flat in the face of three pages of dissent.
As many have suggested, make this an option. Then everyone wins.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE THE SUBJECT LINE OUT AND REVERT THE POSTS BACK TO THE OLD WAY SO THAT I CAN JUST HIT ENTER WHEN IM DONE TYPING MY MESSAGE.
PLEASE AND THANK YOU
