Is there a way to eliminate Subject line in a Teams post?

    If I needed a Subject Line I would have typed it in myself, like this:

    SUBJECT: This is what my message is about

    ...and this is my message

    I can do that right in the message body and don't need an extra field to bypass.

    I agree with everyone - not a single user in our organization enjoys this or needs this. Why add email features in a messaging platform? We already have multiple heading formatting options literally at the top of the message block, why force a subject line on top of that? The 'Start a post' menu just shouldn't start in formatting mode, period. If users want to format email-like messages when posting, let them press the format button, don't force it for every new post.

    What a messaging client workflow should look like:

    click > type > enter

    What it currently looks like:

    click > tab > tab > type > ctrl+enter

    My Manager has asked Can we get a subject button on a reply to a message to please to slow us down even more ?

    My colleagues in my company all agree that this new feature is REALLY annoying. No one wants to add a subject for every entry.
    Please remove it. its a daily frustration.

    Maybe you can forward the vast amount of complaints to your organization and remove this stress inducing feature?
