I agree 100%, this is a stupid change. Please get rid of the subject line.

Please remove the Subject line when creating posts in the 'new' Teams as it sucks **** and was a terrible idea.

It went from clicking the post button, typing a post, then pressing enter.

Now it is click post button, tab twice to get to the box to type a post, type post, then press ctrl+enter.

Why would you take a simple process and make it pointlessly longer and add a subject line in a chat program like we're creating an email?

    Braindead i swear.

Hello Jack G! My name is Jeremy and I’m happy to help you with your question.

There is not currently any option to remove the Subject line in a Teams post.

I would recommend sending feedback directly through the application.

Here is a link on how to send feedback directly to the development team about possible future options or QOL changes.
