Poorly thought out. This needs to just be removed. In no scenario would I ever want this or thought to myself, "Hey, this chat message would have been so much better if I only had the opportunity to spend extra time creating a Subject for it!!!"

Sorry guys. This one needs to be binned.

I completely agree. I work in medical and it is slowing me down helping patients.

Hello Jack G! My name is Jeremy and I’m happy to help you with your question. There is not currently any option to remove the Subject line in a Teams post. I would recommend sending feedback directly through the application. Here is a link on how to send feedback directly to the development team about possible future options or QOL changes. https://support.microsoft.com/help/c0fb6297-22af-4db5-b19b-69e0a6720927 Regards,

This is such a waste of time. I already have that function in email.

Totally not needed to add subject line and format options. I just want to send a message and not submit a resume
