Absolutely agree!!!
Subject line is very, very annoying and just adds time and complexity to what should be just a simple damn chat message. Hate it, Hate it. HATE IT.
Microsoft, please stop shoving "features" down our throats.
Does anyone know the last version of the Teams desktop client that didn't enforce the subject line?
Cannot agree.
All these posts sound like if Microsoft had forced them to add a subject to their chat messages.
But posts in a channel are (in my world) not a quick message but something thought out and informative for the team. Often also starting a thread of chat messages below it.
(Without a new subject line indeed)
I would suggest to use a group chat instead for these complaining users. Maybe this helps?
It is forced though. Users are forced to add an unnecessary subject or then use several more key commands or mouse movement to simply type in, "GOING ON BREAK".
Subject should be OPTIONAL, not a REQUIREMENT to make a post.
Utter non-sense to force users to do MORE work to do the SAME thing.
PLEASE REMOVE THE SUBJECT LINE ITS A PAIN
