This subject line is cutting off photos and we need to click on "see more" to see the bottom of the photo. This is affecting our productivity and our work flow.

Subject lines are unnecessary in POSTS.

Subject lines are helpful in email ONLY.

I know the subject line was a hidden feature in posts before. I don't know why they chose to bring this option to the forefront but it is certainly a productivity and work flow killer.

Microsoft certainly did not get user feedback on these "new" features prior to deploying to everyone. This subject line should be OPTIONAL and a setting choice for the organization or by Team Channel.

The recent updates to Teams have not been helpful to productivity.

If you never use a 'Subject' why do you need to suffer it being there, just give us the option of having it as it was before just a plain message PLEASE.

Hello Jack G! My name is Jeremy and I’m happy to help you with your question.

There is not currently any option to remove the Subject line in a Teams post.

I would recommend sending feedback directly through the application.

Here is a link on how to send feedback directly to the development team about possible future options or QOL changes.

    Hi Stanley,

I understand the subject is optional and doesn't display on the "post". To restate the issue...

    • Previously: Selecting "Start a post" would default the cursor to the message body and 'enter' would post the comment. This created a quick and easy experience similar to texting -- just type the message and then hit enter.
    • Modification: Selecting "Start a post" defaults to "Add a subject" (Pain point --- user must to tab through twice to message body or manually use their cursor to go the body) and 'enter' creates a new paragraph (pain point -- user must move the mouse to "Post" to post). This is now a clunky and longer process for the user with the need to move around the screen and treats each post like an email.
