My company has Microsoft Teams Version 23257.2616.2423.5046 (64-bit)/Client Version 49/23091420217.
It was last updated on 07/10/2023. When the New Teams selection is enabled I no longer have the ability to go to Saved Messages.
Anyone know where this feature went?

I just use the Tasks from within Outlook. I use Tasks in Outlook a lot, so for me it hasn't created much overhead. Teams does have a Tasks app, so you can stay in Teams to see it, if that's what you're after.
So once you create a task....YOU HAVE to DL another app called Tasks or other to access it.....so, you just cannot access that saved task or tasks created IN Teams ?? Sucks IMO.
Classic Teams users can download their saved messages and files to a local folder that they can open in new Teams.

So, you mean that the links in the excel file will still take me to the specific saved message. This is good to know.
However, the bigger question is: if Save Messages is disappearing, what can I use in New Teams to replace the functionality I am losing?
Use Case: I'm in the middle of a task and a Teams message comes in. I briefly look at the new message and see that it will require an action on my part. To make sure I don't forget about it, I save the message and return to my original task. Later, when I have time, I check my saved messages and take action or add it to the appropriate workflow/backlog as necessary.
If there's a convenient alternative in New Teams for this use case, I'm willing to listen.
Hi vmernst, So what do we do going-forward after downloading saved messaged to a local folder? How do we replace the need for the Saved Message feature? Most of us here still want it very much.

Thanks for that. It is something that I haven't thought of utilising, could be useful. However, it's still not as convenient as the previous Saved Message feature.
With the previous Saved Message feature, user has a consolidated list of all the saved messages, along with sender of the message and a preview of the message itself as well. Nonetheless, it is something that I haven't thought of utilising.
But in principle, it is still strange in the sense that, Microsoft is letting user copy a link to a particular message instead of providing user the function to actually save that particular message...Why? Haha. (A rhetorical question)
