I used to be able to copy a series of teams messages and it would include the Username, timestamp and the message, but now it only includes the message. I did not change anything about the way I'm copying. I need to be able to copy and paste this data for my work. I have already deleted the MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe file to clear cache, and I've reset and repaired the app. I have had no luck in getting this ability back. We should have the choice of including this data in clipboard or not.

I am no longer having the date/timestamp info included when copying a chunk of messages now, either. I can''t believe we have been left with no way, when selecting a bunch of messages, to have the date/timestamp information included. What I believe people have been asking for here is not a way to lose the capability entirely, but a way to have it as an option to include the date/timestamp information or not.
Agree, this trick with the holding down the mouse while you do ctrl-c ctrl-v no longer works. MS really needs to revert back to the way it worked a few years back before this trick was needed. What a mess.
From my experience, it appears the copy function Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V no longer will include the date/time of a chat post no matter what you do.
The only way I have been able to recover this is by using Copilot within the app and ask it to do something like:
**Can you show me the complete chat from Monday with time stamps, showing the time stamp first?**This works but if it is a long chat it will only will show a certain amount of the conversation. :(
PLEASE FIX THIS SO THOSE OF US THAT NEED TO DOCUMENT CHATS WITH DATE & TIMES CAN DO SO.
It is extremely frustrating to have to use all these workarounds to do what was so easy to do until Microsoft decided to change it.
