My Airpod pro 2 doesn't work on Teams

My Airpod pro 2 doesn't work on Teams. They have no problem with other programs, and also work on teams on my phone.

They connect fine and I can see that they are selected in the teams settings. The app is also on the list of apps that can access the microphone and so on.

Furthermore I have disconnected them and reconnected them several times, I have also deleted Teams and installed once agin. Nothing works!!!!

It works fine otherwise and with other headphones.

I spent 2.5 hours yesterday doing allll of the steps I've found in every forum and I think rolling back the intel bluetooth driver worked for me. I did a test run with teams, Settings > Devices > Make a test call, and everything worked for the first time since this all started a few months back. I havent had an actual teams call to test it but this is promising. I think some things work for some people, and others work for some, its not a one fix works for all type of thing.

Windows Key + X > Device Manager > Bluetooth > Intel Wireless Bluetooth > Driver > Rollback Driver. Restart Windows. I also restarted my airpods before I rebooted, and re-connected them to windrows to have a clean slate on both accounts. Then made my test call with teams and it worked.

    It's the battle of the ecosystems. They don't want people to be able to use both MS and Apple ecosystems together. They want to force you to only buy one set of products/services. (despite the inherent childishness in such a plan) They no longer care about what customers want or creating technologies that help people accomplish anything. They exist now only to sell themselves. Technology used to be about making the world better and more efficient, working together, challenging each other to be better, and make better products by one upping each other. But now it's about trapping people into your ecosystem so you don't HAVE to make better products. It's their hope that we'll give in and buy their pre-approved mediocre headphones for fear of up-ending our own individual tech ecosystems. It's the death of technological progress. AnnaThomas is just a spin doctor for the grim reaper so to speak.

    This is the most ridiculous answer I've read about this issue. Instead of asking users to buy yet another piece of technology, why the heck won't Microsoft figure out a way to make the Airpods work?

    FYI, I will not buy another headset or device, I will instead use a different platform to communicate with my team.

    Just realize that you have gone through the effort to have Teams be compatible with Mac devices. Why go for the extra effort to exclude AirPods?

    I have had this issue suddenly plague me a few weeks ago. My Apple Airpods Max works for everything except teams calls. I finally got it to work by doing the following:

    Go to sound settings >Select the Airpods > In audio enhancements set to "off".

    Repeat for the microphone.

    Hope this helps someone.
