My Airpod pro 2 doesn't work on Teams. They have no problem with other programs, and also work on teams on my phone.

They connect fine and I can see that they are selected in the teams settings. The app is also on the list of apps that can access the microphone and so on.

Furthermore I have disconnected them and reconnected them several times, I have also deleted Teams and installed once agin. Nothing works!!!!

It works fine otherwise and with other headphones.

I spent 2.5 hours yesterday doing allll of the steps I've found in every forum and I think rolling back the intel bluetooth driver worked for me. I did a test run with teams, Settings > Devices > Make a test call, and everything worked for the first time since this all started a few months back. I havent had an actual teams call to test it but this is promising. I think some things work for some people, and others work for some, its not a one fix works for all type of thing.

Windows Key + X > Device Manager > Bluetooth > Intel Wireless Bluetooth > Driver > Rollback Driver. Restart Windows. I also restarted my airpods before I rebooted, and re-connected them to windrows to have a clean slate on both accounts. Then made my test call with teams and it worked.

Check the privacy in System Settings and make sure the New Teams is allowed to use the Microphone.

I use MS teams for all my work meetings. When I am at work I want to use noise cancelling ear pods. Looks like every kind of noise cancelling ear pods have some issue with MS Teams. (Air Pods Pro2, Bose Quite Comfort, Sony, Samsung). Its frustrating that Microsoft does not want to admit and fix the issue. Other apps work fine so it is definitely a MS Teams issue. The only standard answer MS is providing is to use one of their cheap approved devices and point the finger elsewhere.

From what is know so far is that the combination of using Teams and your Airpods (though blue tooth) have various issues.

People can hear me good, but all i hear is whispering people. (I can't control my volume bar)

Some have speaking issues and some cant even get their Airpods connected.

For me i found a workaround for this issue.

Plug an extra Blue Tooth dongel in your machine.

Your Airpods automaticaly connect to the USB BT dongel.

And whats more important Teams can connect to your USB BT dongel as wel.

It bypasses the MS BT drivers on your maschine. Which are the main cause of this issue.

Note: I'm aware it's a workaround, but its working.
