My Airpod pro 2 doesn't work on Teams. They have no problem with other programs, and also work on teams on my phone.

They connect fine and I can see that they are selected in the teams settings. The app is also on the list of apps that can access the microphone and so on.

Furthermore I have disconnected them and reconnected them several times, I have also deleted Teams and installed once agin. Nothing works!!!!

It works fine otherwise and with other headphones.

I spent 2.5 hours yesterday doing allll of the steps I've found in every forum and I think rolling back the intel bluetooth driver worked for me. I did a test run with teams, Settings > Devices > Make a test call, and everything worked for the first time since this all started a few months back. I havent had an actual teams call to test it but this is promising. I think some things work for some people, and others work for some, its not a one fix works for all type of thing.

Windows Key + X > Device Manager > Bluetooth > Intel Wireless Bluetooth > Driver > Rollback Driver. Restart Windows. I also restarted my airpods before I rebooted, and re-connected them to windrows to have a clean slate on both accounts. Then made my test call with teams and it worked.

You would think that Bluetooth is a standard Microsoft supports, sadly I guess it means we have to dump teams and use zoom which the Airpods have no issue with.

This is an ongoing issue, clearly. It would be nice if Microsoft would at least acknowledge that it is an issue and let us know if there is a development path for a solution, or if they are going to continue to ignore it.

It is disappointing that the "new" teams being forced upon us also continue to have this same issue.

100%. This is unreal. AirPod pros are the de facto standard, I don't know anyone who doesn't wear them for conference calls unless they don't have an Apple device.

I’ve had problems hearing the other party in Teams on a Mac over and over. Nothing seems to fix it.

While I can appreciate the workaround described here, this is not right. We shouldn’t need to go to these extremes to make things work.

We’re just talking about earbuds here (speakers, basically). There should be no issue because of different OS. Sorry, Microsoft. Sorry, Apple. You both got it completely wrong on this one. How come there were no issues with the previous versions of airPods?

    *using airPods2 pro

    Respectfully,

    Monica
