How do I remove the "Suggested" list from the new Teams? This is both annoying and foolish.

My Teams desktop app is still showing the "suggested" and says i have the latest version. I'm not seeing anything in the MS store either. is there a way for me to force an update?
As of 7/10/2024, the MS Teams mobile app (iOS) still has no way to turn off "suggested" people when I go to Chat.
I would uninstall and then download the latest version.

Microsoft has had many issues lately with Office. Outlook is also doing some screwy things. They know about all of this but no fixes as of yet.
It is the same with Android. The mobile app is not fixed.
Still doesn't work in either web- or desktop-app for me. Tried reinstalling and says I'm on the latest version. Global admin accounts are exposed along with un-licensed users (shared/distributed mailboxes) and not least External users I've never heard of. When I click on one of them, it only states Unknown User... I've an open support ticket for this issue for some time now and we'll see how it goes. With that said, the missing option to turn off this ridiculous "feature" tenant-wide is totally unacceptable!
