Removing the"Suggested" List in Teams Chat

I was reviewing this case and found we were not able to provide you the exact resolution on this ticket reason being this behavior is expected as per our internal resource team. We are currently working on a solution for an “opt-out” option for users with suggested contacts, which will resolve the issue. However, there is no ETA on when this option will be rolled out. In the meantime, users can simply collapse the suggested contact list.

Funny thing is that my girlfriend who sits right besides me, onboarded to a different company and using the latest New Teams, the app is NOT showing the "Suggested list" at all... Only difference is that her company is using a partner. So, why do partners have the ability to turn off suggestions, but others who don't depend on a partner dosen't?!

Still doesn't work in either web- or desktop-app for me. Tried reinstalling and says I'm on the latest version. Global admin accounts are exposed along with un-licensed users (shared/distributed mailboxes) and not least External users I've never heard of. When I click on one of them, it only states Unknown User... I've an open support ticket for this issue for some time now and we'll see how it goes. With that said, the missing option to turn off this ridiculous "feature" tenant-wide is totally unacceptable!

It is the same with Android. The mobile app is not fixed.

I would uninstall and then download the latest version.

Microsoft has had many issues lately with Office. Outlook is also doing some screwy things. They know about all of this but no fixes as of yet.
