I created a Teams chat for school amongst my classmates. My classmates are able to upload files into the chat but I'm unable to do so. The 'attach file' icon isn't showing. How do I resolve this as I need to share documents in this group chat.

    Hello Joshua Pressley,
Thank you for posting to the community. To gain a clear understanding of the scenario, I'd like to ask a few questions to pinpoint the situation and address it effectively together.

    1. Do you see the 'Attach File' icon in other Teams chats, or is the issue only in this group chat?
    2. Make a short video of the issue and share it via private message.
    3. What type of file are you trying to attach? Have you tried attaching a different file type, such as an image or a PDF, to see if the issue persists?
    4. Are you using the Teams desktop app, web version, or mobile app? Have you tried switching to another device?
    5. Are you experiencing a similar issue with Teams on the web (https://teams.microsoft.com/)? This can help you determine if the issue is specific to the desktop application or affects the Teams platform as a whole.
    6. Can you please share a screenshot of the version of the Teams app you are using?
    7. Can you access OneDrive online (onedrive.com) with your school account, or do you get an error?
    8. Do you have the same issue when trying to upload files in a Teams channel instead of a chat?
    9. Have you checked with your school's IT admin to confirm if file sharing is enabled for your account?

I requested the above details as they were not mentioned in your initial description. Providing this information will help us better understand your current situation and allow for more accurate internal consultation.
