Microsoft Teams Spell Check

With the recent update to Teams the spellchecker is not working correctly.  It will show the misspelled word but when you click on it there is no longer a suggested spelling popping up.  We (Several in the company) have noticed this on the latest update to the following version, Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.21970 (64-bit).

I have already gone in and deleted the setting.json file, that will work for a short time 10-20 minutes then back to not given a suggestion.

I tested if we use the pop out feature and chat in a seperate window spellchecker will work as intended it appear to be the same issue as posted before.

    Press the Windows key and R enter the in there

    I have cleared the cache etc using the details above and yet still the spell checker is not available - the word unerlines as incorrect but there are not any options to corret.

    Here is what I had to do to get this to work again.

    Settings >> Disable spell check

    Restart Teams.

    Settings >> enable spell check

    Restart Teams.

    Close Teams

    Clear Teams cache.

    I had previously cleared the cache with no success but adding in the toggle of the spell check settings seems to have resolved this for me.

    The spelling worked fine in the preview version of Teams but as this is for work, I can't depend on using a beta version in day to day operations.
