Why is when i use the "New" teams, my taskbar doesnt show status just says "new"

Trying the New teams, instead of my taskbar showing me a checkmark or away status. the taskbar teams just says "New"

    It finally works for me

    I'm using version 23306.3308.2524.1744 (Client version 49/23101227708)

    No. Just the "new" banner still. No other notifications at all on the tray icon
