Because the World is full of morons and Microsoft seems to be full of them.
Yea because in microsoft they are "professionals" who always change something that users need and then they try to convince them that they dont need this feature. Same for me. Going back to old teams as this notification is not shown in task bar.
It's worked on the taskbar for a while. Still doesn't work in the tray down by the clock
Hi -- I changed the settings in Default apps for the New Teams and I now have both status and number of unread messages (see in my bottom tray).
