I have seen another person have this issue and they said that they went into System Preferences and clicked Security and Privacy and under the Privacy tab they made sure that Teams had permission to use their mic and camera. Let me know if this works

    Hi Robin,

I'm Ahmed and I am here & happy to help.

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing. Please be assured that I will do my best to provide a satisfactory response and assist you with resolving the problem.

From the issue description, I see your account is the only affected one.

If you use a VPN, please try to disconnect it. Please also try another internet connection to make sure it's not a Network issue.

If you’re using Windows 11, make sure that your microphone and camera are enabled and unmuted in the sound settings. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Sound > Input/Output and selecting your devices. You can also check the privacy settings to allow desktop apps to access your microphone and camera. You can do this by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > App permissions > Microphone/Camera and turning on the toggle for desktop apps.

    Please check the following steps:

    1. Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
    2. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into File Explorer.
    3. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    4. Restart Microsoft Teams.

    * Please also make sure that the affected Drivers are updated.

    • To update the audio driver:

Hit the Win+X hotkey and choose Device Manager.

    Open the Sound category.

Select the active audio device and press right-click on it.

Click on the Update Driver option.

    • To update the Camera Driver:

In the same Listed items above please:

    Expand the Imaging devices menu.

Right-click the camera and select Update driver.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
